The $110 million IH10 East expansion consists of relocation and reconfiguration of entrance and exit ramps (including “ramp reversals”) to improve safety and mobility. It also includes merging between the main lanes and frontage roads and rebuilding intersections to optimize traffic flow and mobility. Furthermore, the project also involves the reconstruction of existing eastbound and westbound main lanes and the addition of one general-purpose lane in each direction. Thus, widening the freeway from four to six lanes.
Precision’s consultants developed the baseline construction schedule in Primavera (P6) and maintained the schedule throughout the construction process. Moreover, Precision also provided schedule monitoring and construction oversight to assist the project team.
