Overview:

The new Marriott is located near the center of the Downtown District, encompassing retail, restaurants, museums, convention centers, and the McLennan County Courthouse, and is roughly six (6) blocks from Baylor University. The scope of work for the project includes constructing a new full-service hotel (Marriott) that is approximately 107,000 sq. ft. The hotel has 182 rooms, a three (3) meal-a-day restaurant, a full bar, a pool, and a pool terrace. Approximately 17,000 sq. ft executive conference center with breakout meeting space (including a planned approximately 7,700 sq. ft. ballroom with 20 ft ceilings); approximately 4,000 sq. ft. in terrace areas adjacent to the executive conference center; and an approximately 20,000 sq. ft. retail/commercial building adjacent to the hotel.
